Jarrod, if it's a song your grandmother can sing while standing at the sink in her apron-yes! Folk music. Fondest memories of "When the Roll is Called Up Yonder." Also a favorite to sing in church. Thanks for writing this!

Too bad piano is not a sacred instrument. Only an organ conveys “church.” And “folk songs” have no place in worship to God when there is millennia of sacred liturgical music plus Gregorian chant available.
