A Music Episode on the Fifth Day of Christmas!
Special Music Episode on my Church's "Redeemer Talk Podcast"
The church where I attend and serve on staff (Church of the Redeemer) started a special Twelve Days of Christmas series of episodes with readings, music, and more back in 2019 as part of our Redeemer Talk Podcast. This is our fourth year putting together twelve special episodes for each of the twelve days of Christmas. Zachary Parker organizes and puts in all the leg work to get it going. It’s a great way to extend the season of Christmas through readings of poems, scripture, music performances, etc. Each year Zach assigns me a couple of music episodes. I try to feature some recordings or talk about significant music works. Today was the first of my episodes for this 2022 Christmas season.
In this episode, you’ll hear some musical selections from handbells, violin, the Richeys around the dinner table singing, and Amanda Roberts on the Hammered Dulcimer. Merry Fifth Day of Christmas!

Redeemer Talk Podcast
When the Apostle Paul speaks of "redeeming the time," he doesn't mean we should make the best of every opportunity but that we should walk in wisdom, as temples of the Holy Spirit when the rest of the world is crumbling in moral ruin. Join members, leaders and friends at Church of the Redeemer in northeastern Louisiana as they discuss culture and how they redeem their time as firefighters, theologians, nurses, coaches, missionaries, and more. Redeemer Talk publishes regular episodes as well as frequent special features and series.
